  • Experience with a CMS or eCommerce such as Shopify
  • You live on Instagram
  • You can doodle or draw

Full time, Boston area

Rocketbook is seeking an Associate Product Manager (APM). Rocketbook enables individuals who take handwritten notes to seamlessly send and organize their notes in cloud services including Google Drive, Evernote, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, OneNote, Slack, and iMessage. We do so by pairing our innovative notebooks with a free mobile app that utilizes computer vision.

We’re looking for an APM who can work with the Product team to help imagine the future of the Rocketbook app and physical product line. The APM is also expected to help with business strategy, competitor analysis, experimentation, and customer development. We expect the APM to offer us a fresh perspective and help us lay the foundation for product development 6-12 months down the line. We would like to work with somebody who is not afraid to challenge the status quo.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Be an owner of features and products from start to finish
  • Identify market opportunities, build business cases, and craft the product vision
  • Collaborate with the product team and co-founders to articulate hypotheses, conduct experiments, determine key metrics, analyze results, and execute the go-to-market strategy
  • Understand and design awesome user experiences
  • User development via user interviews, support requests, and surveys
  • Help with general business operations

  • 1-2 years of product management, design, or marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Takes initiative and is not afraid to tinker
  • Willingness to do “whatever it takes” to help the company
  • Hungry to learn and contribute
  • Software development, mobile app development (iOS or Android), or computer vision experience is a plus, but not necessary

This opportunity would be great for:

  • Wants to gain experience with a growth stage startup that has both a physical and digital product
  • Wants to make a contribution to a product that your friends will use
  • Wants to learn how to build a product from scratch
  • Wants to be a part of a small, nimble team
  • Wants to be able to say, “I made that!”

To Apply:

Please send your resume and a “note” to In the note, please share how you think you’d be able to contribute to the Rocketbook team. The format of the note is up to you! It can be in the form of a text document, presentation, mockups, etc.
